PADI Digital Underwater Photographer Course

The PADI Digital Underwater Photographer course gets you going quickly, whether you use a point-and-shoot camera or a sophisticated dSLR like the pros. Now, with these high performance and high quality cameras, scuba divers are able to take great pictures in the sea and load them on Facebook almost immediately. These great pictures serve as the best takeaways during their vacation.

Get credit! The second dive of this PADI Specialty Diver course may credit as an Adventure Dive towards your Advanced Open Water Diver certification – ask your instructor about earning credit.

What will you learn?

During your two “hands-on” trainings and guidance at dive with your instructor, you will learn how to choose the right underwater camera system and the PADI “SEA” (Shoot, Examine, Adjust) method for getting great shots quickly. You will learn practical techniques to take great photos with your digital camera with some principles for good composition of underwater images.

What kind of scuba gear will you use?

You will use basic scuba equipment, dive computer and a dive light to see into the wreck. You may need a slate and underwater compass for mapping and navigation, and a line and reel for practicing wreck penetration.  Your instructor will suggest other gear appropriate for your course in Phuket. A set of top quality equipment will be supplied throughout this course at NO charge. If you wish to make purchase for your own equipment, please contact us.

To enroll for Digital Underwater Photographer course, you must be a PADI (Junior) Open Water Divers who are at least 10 years old are eligible to take the Digital Underwater Photographer course.
