PADI Open Water Course

Your PADI Open Water Course is the first step into the fascinating world of scuba diving. PADI has certified over 20 million divers and they have went on to discover the wonders of the aquatic world through this course. If you have always wanted to take scuba diving lessons to experience unparalleled adventure and see the world beneath the waves, this is where your new life adventure begins.

What will you learn?

The PADI Open Water Course consists of three main phases. Knowledge Development in our classroom to understand basic principles of scuba diving. Confined Water Dives in a swimming pool to learn basic scuba skills will help you before you take your first step into the sea. We will review your skills with 5 Open Water Dives in the sea and we will take you on one leisure dive to explore more!

What kind of scuba gear will you use?

In the PADI Open Water Course, you learn to use basic scuba gear including a dive computer, mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, buoyancy control device and a tank. A 3mm short wetsuit is usually recommended at Phuket’s warm climate.  A set of top quality equipment will be supplied throughout the Open Water Course at NO charge. If you wish to make purchase for your own equipment, please contact us.


To enroll into PADI Open Water Course and/or Junior Open Water Course, you must at least 10 years or older. You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health.

No prior experience with scuba diving is required. However, you must be able to swim for 200 metres (in mask, fin and snorkel) and float or tread water for 10 minutes.
